Terms of Service

1. Your agreement and eligibility

ObolHost is a Minecraft hosting service operated by Raxz Ltd. By creating or using an account, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. You must confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age at which you can enter this agreement independently, you must have your parent or guardian's permission. Do not create an account if you are under 13.

You are responsible for keeping your login secure, for the people you give server access to, and for activity through your account. Social login is optional. Keep a working contact email and a recovery method.

2. Free hosting and adverts

The free plan includes 3 GB of RAM and one included server slot. Ad-supported servers start after the required advert. Each ad-supported session lasts up to 24 hours, including while players are online; watching a renewal advert during the final hour starts a new 24-hour allowance. Without renewal the server is stopped. Servers with automatic shutdown enabled stop after 15 minutes with no players.

Ad-Free and Always-On benefits apply while the relevant upgrade is active. Always-On disables empty-server shutdown. Active paid RAM or Always-On on a server adds one additional account server slot; separately granted or purchased slots can add more. An Ad-Free pass alone does not add an extra slot.

3. Paid upgrades

Prices, duration and benefits are shown before checkout. Subscriptions and time-limited passes are distinct purchases. When an upgrade ends, its benefits and additional slot allowance end. Extra servers can be stopped and blocked from starting until a qualifying upgrade is active or another server is removed; their files are not silently deleted for exceeding the slot allowance. Paid servers are prioritised, then the oldest remaining servers fill the included slots. Normal inactivity rules still apply. Contact us to discuss cancellation, billing errors or refunds. Mandatory consumer cancellation and refund rights are not excluded by these Terms.

4. Your Minecraft server and content

You keep your rights in worlds, configuration and other content you upload. You authorise us and our hosting/storage providers to store, copy, back up, restore and process it as needed to operate the service. You are responsible for permissions and licences for mods, plugins, modpacks and uploaded material, and for complying with the Minecraft EULA and applicable Minecraft usage rules.

Do not use the service for unlawful content or activity, malware, attacks, cryptocurrency mining, unauthorised access, harassment or disruption of other customers. Do not bypass resource limits, advert requirements or account limits. We may restrict, suspend or remove access where needed to address abuse, security issues, non-payment or a material breach. Contact us if you believe this was a mistake.

5. Storage, backups and inactivity

Stopped servers may be moved to encrypted-provider cloud storage and restored when needed. Automatic backup controls show their next time and repeat interval. If you enable rotation, the previous unlocked copy is kept until its replacement completes successfully. Locked backups are not automatically removed. Automatic backups wait while server files are asleep or an incompatible operation is running.

Keep an independent copy of important worlds. Backups, upgrades and server management can fail, and restoring an older backup replaces newer changes. Free servers unused for 60 days may receive an inactivity warning and may be deleted after 90 days. Do not rely on free hosting as your only archival copy.

6. Availability and changes

We aim to provide a reliable service, but do not promise uninterrupted availability or a particular performance level for free hosting. Maintenance, capacity constraints and external providers can affect service. We will act reasonably when making material changes and may ask you to accept an updated version of these Terms. Statutory rights and liabilities which cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.

Contact Raxz Ltd at support@obolhost.com about support, complaints, cancellation or these Terms. Please give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate a problem. Your mandatory consumer rights, including access to the courts or other remedies available where you live, are preserved.
